 Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is Singapore's largest acute tertiary hospital and national referral centre. It was the world's second largest hospital to achieve JCI accreditation in 2005. Highlights
- As the first in Asia Pacific to use 3D Fluroscopy with Stealth navigation (Medtronic O-Arm), SGH offers spine and orthopaedic patients less invasive surgeries, faster recovery times and improved outcomes.
- SGH performed the world's first unrelated cord blood stem cell transplant and first cord blood transplant for Thalassaemia Major patients.
- SGH's Urology Centre was also the first in the region to use the Da Vinci robot-assisted surgery for prostate cancer in 2003. Since then, more than 200 surgeries have been performed.
