The National Skin Centre (NSC) operates as an outpatient specialist dermatological clinic with consultant dermatologists who have the experience and expertise to treat complex skin diseases in both their private and subsidised clinics. As a tertiary health care institution, the NSC provides specialised dermatological services, trains medical students and postgraduates, and undertakes research in dermatology.

It aims to be the national and regional referral centre for the treatment of complex skin diseases. It is already recognised as a dermatological training centre for local and foreign skin specialists and paramedical personnel with its active educational programmes for undergraduates, postgraduates, professionals and the public.
