Connexion is a unique building complex. Within Connexion, there is a top medical specialist center, a full service hospital, an exquisite hotel, and an ultramodern convention center. Connexion rises from a 6-storey podium to two 20-storey high rise wings.
The West Wing has nearly 200 specialist medical suites, while the East Wing houses the hospital and hotel. The hotel has 260 varied guest rooms, and is thoughtfully connected to a 500-seat convention center, extensive gardens and recreational facilities, and a ground floor shopping arcade. Nested in the same building, the hotel enjoys rapid access to medical facilities ranging from intensive care units, state of art operating theaters and full range diagnostic laboratories.
Constructed on 1.36 hectares of land directly above the Farrer Park MRT Station in the Central City district, Connexion enjoys excellent transportation connectivity via the North-East Line to the entire island's rail network. It also has close access to major road expressways, including the PIE, ECP and CTE.
Connexion is scheduled for completion in early 2013. It is developed by Singapore HealthPartners, a company formed in 2006 by a group of 40 established local doctors, an architect, and two foreign corporate investors. Its mission is to provide patient-focused care, founded on medical professional integrity and clinical quality assurance within a socially responsive health care organization.
